Define alphabetic data with example?

Answer: An alphabetic data is a group of letters that make up each of the sounds of a language. With the English language, the alphabet contains letters "A" through "Z." With computers, the alphabetic data is stored as ASCII and allows the computer to display text and interact with the user. The alphabetic also helps with sorting and finding information by sorting data in alphabetic order.

An example of straight forward alphabetical ordering follows: As; Aster; Astrolabe; Astronomy; Astrophysics; At; Ataman; Attack; Baa.
