Answer: Facebook: Facebook is a social networking site that makes it easy for you to connect and share with your family and friends online. Originally designed for college students, Facebook was created in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg while he was enrolled at Harvard University. By 2006, anyone over the age of 13 with a valid email address could join Facebook. Today, Facebook is the world's largest social network, with more than 1 billion users worldwide.

Facebook is a popular free social networking website that allows registered users to create profiles, upload photos and video, send messages and keep in touch with friends, family and colleagues. The site, which is available in 37 different languages, includes public features such as:


a) Marketplace - allows members to post, read and respond to classified ads.

b) Groups - allows members who have common interests to find each other and interact.

c) Events  - allows members to publicize an event, invite guests and track who plans to attend.

d) Pages - allows members to create and promote a public page built around a specific topic.

e) Presence technology - allows members to see which contacts are online and chat.

What is internet browser? Give five example of it. 

Answer: Web browser: Browser, short for web browser, is a software application used to enable computers users to locate and access web pages. Browsers translates the basic HTML (Hypertext Mark Up Language) code that allows us to see images, text videos and listen to audios on websites along with hyperlinks that let us travel to different web pages. The browser gets in contact with the web server and requests for information. The web server receives the information and displays it on the computer.

Browser names: There are some leading web browsers: Chrome, Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, UC Browser and Netscape, but there are many others browsers available.
